DLC Students
Dear Futures Students,
If you are enrolled into online classes (Digital Learning Commons - DLC), please note that there is now a tutoring program available to your (for free).
DLC Tutors (all of whom are recent graduates of Washington universities) are experts in their subject areas and are able to help with introductory to advanced level questions and topics. They are tutors in the traditional sense of the word – able to provide an outside point of view to help and support students. However, unlike traditional tutoring centers, they interact with students in an online environment that is safe and secure.
This program is completely free and provides help in nearly every subject, including foreign languages. DLC tutors can also help students with the college application process, writing application essays, searching for scholarships, and preparing for the ACT and SAT tests.
DLC Tutors are available Monday through Thursday from 2:30 – 8:00 PM (http://www.learningcommons.org/dlctutors/) to respond directly via the new tutoring website. Students can interact with tutors live on the listed days/times or submit a question anytime and a tutor will respond within 24 hours. DLC staff tried to make the process as easy as possible so they can help you efficiently and effectively.
